It’s the one thing that is hard to convey on your resume. However, it is the one thing that, when shown and expressed in your job interview, can make all the difference in you getting the job offer over other candidates. Technical skills, experience, education, and certifications are easy to put down in black and white. However, showing a future employer, your emotional intelligence is a different ballgame. You either have it innately, or you learn it over time. Either way, they must be cultivated through your experience and researched to communicate them effectively in your job interview. They are the intangibles you bring that no one else has quite like you. These will make you shine and stand out in your interview. And we often ignore or don’t even think about them.
