Client Services
New Orleans | Full-Time | In-Office

A well-established and highly successful New Orleans financial advisory firm is seeking an experienced Client Services professional to join its team. This is a key, client-facing position for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, staying ahead of details, and providing an exceptional level of service.

The Client Services professional works closely with the firm’s financial advisors and their clients, taking ownership of day-to-day client needs and ensuring requests, transactions, and account matters are handled accurately, efficiently, and proactively.
This is not simply a processing or administrative role. The right person will have excellent judgment and communication skills, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues—often before the client or advisor has to ask.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive, professional, and highly personalized service
  • Work closely with financial advisors to manage client needs and ensure timely follow-through
  • Anticipate potential issues and take initiative to resolve them
  • Coordinate money movements, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, distributions, and other cash requests
  • Open new individual, joint, retirement, trust, and other investment accounts
  • Process account changes, beneficiary designations, and ownership updates
  • Assist with trust and estate-related account documentation and transactions
  • Coordinate account transfers, deposits, distributions, and other client transactions
  • Serve as a liaison with the firm’s third-party broker/dealer and custodian to resolve account and transaction issues
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation and follow-up are completed
  • Communicate with clients by phone and email regarding requests, paperwork, deadlines, and account matters
  • Manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive requests while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide the thoughtful, personal service that helps build long-term client relationships
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is organized, polished, proactive, and genuinely good with people. The right candidate understands that excellent client service requires both technical accuracy and a personal touch—the ability to listen, reassure, communicate clearly, and make clients feel confident that their needs are being handled.
A background in wealth management, financial services, investment services, or banking is strongly preferred, particularly experience working directly with clients and handling financial transactions or account servicing.
Successful candidates will bring:
  • Strong client-service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of follow-up
  • Good judgment and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of client needs
  • Comfort working with confidential financial and personal information
  • Experience in banking, wealth management, investment services, or a related financial environment preferred
This is a full-time, in-office position in New Orleans.
The firm offers an excellent salary and benefits package, along with a supportive team environment. Employees tend to build long careers here, making this an especially attractive opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a place to stay and grow for the long term.
